Effective Management Communication Why do so many lawyers complain about not getting enough feedback, yet complain they can't understand much of what they are given? After 15 years of testing in firms, we believe it's because not enough information is graphical, and because there's not enough consistency in the feedback in presentation and timing. In 1988 we developed two communication tools to address the problem firmly convinced that better feedback produces better performance leading directly to better profits and all the benefits that flow to all stakeholders from good profits. The tools were initially designed with an eye to the fact that most small and medium firms did not have great practice management software and while there have been improvements there is still a proven need for these two KMS reports.
